  • Masters of camouflage — they blend in with leaves and flowers to sneak up on prey.
     
  • They eat flies, moths, grasshoppers, wasps, and other bugs — great for pest control!
     
  • They have 5 eyes and can turn their heads nearly all the way around!
     
  • One mantis egg case (ootheca) can hatch up to 200 baby mantises.
     
  • Their front legs are super strong and fast — perfect for snatching food.
